ASE is steps ahead of all other training programs because the student scopist needs to master their CAT program before graduating.
You will receive and return practice files so you can make your mistakes with ASE instead of with a court reporter.
ASE CAT Training for Scoping Purposes

Why ASE for CAT Training??
No one else provides it!! ASE has been doing this since its inception in 2008.
Because the CAT software training is written for court reporters, ASE is making its CAT training for scopists available to the public and it's a huge success!!
Former court reporters choosing to get a new software program for scoping have been amazed at how well this training information works.
In the past two years, ASE spent a bit of time training brand-new court reporters how to use the software!!
Eclipse CAT Training for Scopists $60
Case CATalyst Training for Scopists $60
ASE does not send its students elsewhere to learn the CAT program, nor does it tell its students to use the tutorials in the CAT program. Through both the live or recorded classes, ASE teaches you how to use the CAT program for scopists in the most efficient manner for learning and production!!
ASE developed charts to guide you in the learning process specifically for scopists along with advanced editing tools as your skills increase. ASE continues to be the only scoping training program that trains its students on both programs used most often in the field, rather than sending you elsewhere to pay for more training. This way you don't have to listen to the CAT program tutorials endlessly which were written for court reporters.
ASE is the only scoping training program that teaches the scopist how to use the CAT dictionary. Many new court reporters need this assistance because they are so desperately needed in the field. Learning to use the CAT dictionary will only make the editing process easier!!
Then ASE will show you how to apply those dictionary entries which makes your editing more efficient.
These are all integral pieces that the court reporter wants you to know how to do. If you don't know these aspects of the CAT software, how can you be confident in marketing your services to court reporters?
Case CATalyst Training Tips
The ASE Classes are always recorded and available for anyone trying to tackle their editing skills and improve their productivity instead of toggling between keyboards!!
ASE makes the learning process much easier and focuses on only the things you need to know instead of teaching you the court reporter side of the program.

Where on earth do I begin?
Hasn't the time come for you to learn your CAT program?
It will only take a short period of time for you to become acclimated with Eclipse and all of the wonderful shortcuts already included within the program.
As a beginning scopist or editor, it is very normal to use your mouse to find things within the program.
Our goal is to strive to keep our fingers on the home row of the keyboard rather than using the mouse to maneuver.
